Immediate Premier League champions Liverpool are expected to have a busy transfer window this summer as they look to sign a number of players in a bid to bolster their squad and bounce back from the strange season they had this campaign. The Reds suffered from injuries to a host of their key players in the 2020-21 Premier League season and they will be looking to make more signings to fill up gaps in the squad just in case another unforeseen situation hits them again.
According to reports, they will not only be signing players in the summer but are also expected to part ways with some of their current stars. The first name on the list of certain departures is Netherlands international midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum. The former Newcastle midfielder has set his sights on an exit from Anfield after failing to come to terms with the club on a new contract and has been linked with a move to Barcelona and Bayern Munich this summer.
